They operate out of an ages-old manual and modern churches co-opt "things kids these days are into" in order to frame that ages-old text into a sort of hip context. I'm not slamming either the Bible or kids these days. I appreciate both. It's churches I take issue with. Especially McChurches. Gimme a break with the iPod reference, Beulah. I mean REALLY? iPod?
