I lost interest in blogging for awhile until I made the blog-saving decision not to write about personal stuff. I mostly use my crypt as a pop culture (or Torch annoying) outlet of things that entertain or amuse me. And I enjoy updating it now. And I do so at least two or three times a week. Okay, it's not profound. But it works for me. So maybe you just need to find the recipe that works for you. Confessional? Personal? Humorous? Searching? Pop culture? Scientific? I dunno, man.
